The life of a clown
has it‘s ups and it‘s downs
with three rings and two shows a day.
The paint must come off
and what‘s left is a frown,
but that disappears if you‘ll say
SMILE when your heart is aching,
SMILE even thoug it‘s breaking,
when there ara clouds in the sky,
you‘ll get by if you
SMILE through your fear and sorrow,
SMILE and maybe tomorrow
you‘ll se the sun come shining throug for you.
Light up your face with gladness,
hide every trace of sadness,
although a tear
may be ever so near,
thath‘s the time you must keep on trying,
SMILE, what‘s the use of crying ?
You‘ll find that life is still worth while
if you just
Light up your face with gladness,
hide every trace of sadness,
although a tear
may be ever so near,
thath‘s the time you must keep on trying,
SMILE, what‘s the use of crying ?
You‘ll see that love is there for you
and when the sun comes shinging through
you‘ll know that life is still worth while
if you´ll just – you‘ll only
SMILE
